Godawari Botanical Garden

The Godawari Botanical Garden, also known as the National Botanical Garden, is located at the southeastern edge of the Kathmandu Valley in Lalitpur. Established in 1962, it spans over 40 hectares and is renowned for its diverse plant species, including rhododendrons, ferns, orchids, cacti, and succulents. It is situated at the foothill of Mt. Phulchowki, the highest peak in the valley, and features various thematic gardens such as a physic garden, biodiversity education garden, rock garden, and Japanese style garden
