Boudhanath Stupa

Boudhanath is one of the largest stupas in the world and a spiritual center for Tibetan Buddhism. The massive dome, adorned with the watchful eyes of Buddha, is surrounded by monasteries, shops, and cafes where locals and monks mingle. The atmosphere is serene and meditative, especially during the evening kora (circumambulation) when the stupa is lit by butter lamps.
