Guideline to reach Venue

Nepal Administrative Staff College (NASC) is situated in Jawalakhel, Lalitpur- approximately 7-10 kilometers away from Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), Kathmandu. To travel to the college, it typically takes 20 to 45 minutes, depending on the traffic and the mode of transportation used. The following are the options available in conveniently reaching NASC.

Airport Taxi (Most Convenient)

Once you leave the arrivals terminal in Tribhuvan International Airport, you will notice a prepaid taxi counter. It is the most convenient and straightforward means of transport, particularly to first-time visitors. The ride is about 20 to 30 mins, depending on the traffic. To get to Nepal Administrative Staff College, Jawalakhel, Lalitpur, you only have to say to the counter staff: “Nepal Administrative Staff College, Jawalakhel, Lalitpur.”

Ride-Hailing Apps (Pathao or inDrive)

Ride-hailing apps like Pathao, Yango or inDrive are widely used in Kathmandu, and they can be your go-to as well. Just install the app and enter “Nepal Administrative Staff College, Jawalakhel” as your destination. The ride travel time is similar to that of a taxi and can cost you less than a taxi. This option is the best if you want to track the route and fare in real time as well.

Public Transport

You can find local buses and microbuses at a short walk from the airport. You can take a bus heading towards Ratna Park or Lalitpur from where you can take another local vehicle towards Bhaktapur. This option is budget-friendly, but we do not recommend it for those unfamiliar with local routes or with heavy luggage.

Hotel Pickup or Private Vehicle

You can chheck if your hotel provides an airport pickup service in case you have arranged accommodation in Kathmandu or Lalitpur. Airport pickups are facilitated by hotels, complimentary or with charges. This can be a smooth and stress-free way to get to NASC without worrying about directions or navigation.
